My name is Carla Renteria and I started Artful Little Minds in 2021 with the dream of creating a space where art could inspire environmental awareness and action.

 

The birth of my son, Santiago, deepened my commitment to this work. I believe we do not inherit the Earth from our elders—we borrow it from our children.

Through upcycled art workshops, I’ve made it my mission to spark climate action, creativity, and hope in our communities. I hold a Master’s in Material Culture from SOAS, University of London, where I researched and witnessed firsthand how low‑income and marginalized communities are disproportionately impacted by environmental harm.
